I have almost this same problem on Karmic. I use Kubuntu 9.10, and upon inserting a mixed mode CD, the KDE automounter offers me to play it as an audio CD or copy the CD with K3B. Neither of it will work, and I also cannot access the data part of the CD. Even worse, I cannot rip the CD with

Yes, I have the same problem. On Windows, when inserting an Audio CD with music videos on it, you are given the opportunity to watch them. When inserting the same CD in Ubuntu, you have no way of knowing that there is additional data content on the CD. The only way I've found to watch the
