Never mind. I just compared the dependencies. Not a great idea to have
people replacing most of the guts of karmic's Gnome through a PPA, I'd
expect.

I switched from KDE and couldn't quite believe that there really wasn't
an answer for Gnome, especially with the fantastic new multiple-desktop-
manager :(
There is an epic thread on the forums with all sorts of hacky solutions
but none that will work well for laptop users who plug/unplug a lot.
+1 for this.
Dual monitors are going to be more common and it will keep coming up.
