I have the same issue on 16.04 LTS. None of the workarounds described
here work. Once you're in full screen mode there is no way out.

Deploying vinagre under Xubuntu 17.04 zesty with
KERNEL=4.10.0-28-generic we setup so keystroke combinations are passed
on to the remote desktop so F11 is disabled locally. The alternative pop

I have the same bug. I noticed that when I hover around the top of the screen,
my mouse changes shape (I use VNC to connect to my Raspberry Pi). To be precise
- when in "captured" mode where I can click around my raspberry it is in shape
of a cross, while when hovering over a middle it
