Since no one else have confirmed this bug and it works fine for me i'm
closing it for now, feel free to re open it if you experience the same
issue with the latest nautilus package available on Hardy, thanks.

I cannot reproduce your problem, I have a macbook and that's not a
problem here, to be confirmed by someone else getting the issue, thanks.

Expected behavior:
Open Nautilus and navigate to a folder with multiple files. Hold down
the Ctrl key while moving the cursor with the laptop trackpad and press
the left trackpad button to select them. Release the Ctrl button and
selection behavior ends.
