that's not a question of my personal interest anymore, still I do not
really understand why a bug is being closed just because there is no
customer reporting a trouble at the moment?

You cannot try to reproduce the bug and since there's no dups of it
you're probably the only one suffering it, without your information on
if it's reproducible on Hardy or submit more information we cannot do
anything than close it, thanks in advance.

it recently. We were wondering is this still an issue for you? Can you try with
the development version of Ubuntu, Hardy Heron?
