Here we go again...
I tried to create a sub-folder in my personal folder /home// (right-click in icon view Nautilus explorer) and Nautilus didn't like
it.
Fails to read the folder content and display any desktop icon.

There are not too many log files to be found thre :
hs_err_pid10416.log
hs_err_pid11835.log
hs_err_pid7827.log
hs_err_pid9285.log
+ nautilus-debug-log.txt
Yet all those files were last modified a week or more before the issue
arose.
Actually I had one file in red font: alsa-driver-1
In a shell, try to make an "ls /home//"
I had an equivalent problem when a bloody software created all its logs (and a
lot of logs) in the directory: thousands log files were is the directory and
nautilus was not able to open it.
