thank you for your bug report, that would be a nice feature to have
indeed, reading your description it's not simple that those are missing
from the .deb but they are different project/sources so it would need
some work to include, ideally upstream libimobiledevice would ship them
which would make

installation on Ubuntu. However currently though a Ubuntu Linux user, is
unable to perform an iOS device restore. In order to do so currently the
user needs to have some way of running an up to date
