you can't have two shadows
1 ugly in the appositions
2 looks good around the appositions
so it's a bug (integration bug)
evince is not responsible for that bug because you have it on many
appositions

This is not a compiz issue, the reporter wants other applications to use
the same shadow style as compiz in their fake shadows (the shadow on
pages in evince, etc).
