I spoke to soon. Even with gnome tweak tool option to ON and HandleLidSwitch=ignore in /etc/systemd/logind.conf , the screen remains active when the lid is closed. (In my previous test it turned off because I didn't set =ignore in logind.conf yet so it was actually going in standby). -- You
