Ubuntu 18.04 NVidia driver gnome desktop with 2 monitors. My workaround for removing the frozen pointer is going to displays in settings/devices config and select mirror screen. It is not necessary to complete the change, just revert back to the previous configuration. -- You received this bug

Has this bug been re-added somewhere? If so, could someone post a link? I'm experiencing a dead cursor appearing in Ubuntu 19.10. I always run my monitors at 100% scaling and have dual monitors. I am also running an AMD RX Vega 56. I've been running in Wayland. I haven't seen if the issue occurs

A bit more detail to reproduce this that I think was missed out before: It happens when the configured desktop mode/scaling is set to a fractional value. You can have that experimental xrandr setting set, but be configured to scaling of 100% or 200% (but see below on latter) and you won't see
