I opened Disks (gnome-disks) and it sees all my drives, but it won't
show SMART stats on my NVME drive (Samsung SSD 970 EVO Plus 500GB). The
SMART menu item is greyed out. It works fine on
I have connected a mixture of disks, NVMe, SSD and two mechanical hard drives.
All have the Smart Data menu grayed out.
Using smartctl -a works awesome (it reports nvme and ssd smart data too).
I reinstalled gnome-disks but same behaviour. I run it as root, same behaviour.

I confirm this bug. I am not able to get any smart data from my NVME,
which btw is my boot drive. This is NOT a low importance bug, please
change to high importance, as it may lead to loss of critical data. The
user should be able to know the SMART data and health of his/her NVME
drive.
