Probably all types. In any case JPEG and PNG.
I just noted I can't find _any_ preview - for videos, pdf etc as before...
We may have different versions of nautilus or some required dependencies

Can you execute in a terminal: gconftool-2 -g
/desktop/gnome/thumbnailers/disable_all and paste the output?
