Thanks for your report, I think that's the right way of totem and most
of the applications to work on fullscreen, this isn't a bug not a
wishlist. If you still want this to be changed you might want to fill
the report at the upstream bug tracker at bugzilla.gnome.org,
instructions on how to do it can be found here:
