I have the same problem as mentioned above...! But I don't know how to
report in a way that anyone can understand easily..! I'm a fresh Ubuntu
8.04 user and I'm having a problem playing my RMVB file collections from

Can anyone walked me through how to report a complete inform

I've solved the problem by installing w32codecs.
On gstreamer only the audio was played.
Bug can be CLOSED.

because that's not clear that's a totem bug and there is no example
attach, does gst-launch-0.10 playbin uri=file:///directory/example read
it correctly?

After installing the "bad" plugin the situation is even worse: RMVB files
aren't played anymore.
Before installation at least the audio was played as I mentioned above.
Why this bug is still incomplete?

RMVB is a standard format of multimedia encoded with RealPlayer. It's very
popular in the Internet.
