Thanks for the help. I had the KDE desktop installed on my system and by
removing it system became unstable? I re-installed and upgraded to Hardy
a 2nd time and cannot reproduce the error.
Thanks again, Gary

Thanks

No, I was just setting the application that has the bug so the right
people are informed. Perhaps you could give a little more information. A
screenshot of the error message (is it from terminal, or a dialog
window?). Is your installation fully updated? What are you doing when
this occurs?
--
I am fully updated. I have no icons on my desktop, no right click, and
cannot launch nautilus from places menu. When I try to launch nautilus
from the terminal I get the message nautilus: error while loading
shared libraries: libbeagle.so.0: cannot open shared object file: No
such file or
You are not likely running the ubuntu version. Could you run which
nautilus, ldd $(which nautilus), dpkg -l nautilus and attach those
informations to a comment?

I did list what versions in the first post but am not sure if this is
what you are asking for. I will add the info from above when I get home
after 5. I have tried to purge and reinstall Nautilus, Beagle, and
libbeagle1 via terminal. I am fairly sure all packages were being
downloaded from Hardy
Hope this helps:
[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ ldd `which nautilus`
linux-vdso.so.1 = (0x7fffcd3fe000)
libbeagle.so.0 = not found
libtrackerclient.so.0 = /usr/lib/libtrackerclient.so.0
(0x7f45c4e66000)
libdbus-glib-1.so.2 = /usr/lib/libdbus-glib-1.so.2
