If the cert-db is shared (or simply copied), Firefox can export the
certificates.

maybe you could open the bug directly on bugzilla.gnome.org? the people
writting the software use bugzilla and you might have a faster reply
there, the ubuntu desktop team has lot to do and sending the bug might
take some time otherwise

seperately from Evolution.
