Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gnome-terminal
Hi, Since upgrading to Hardy I've noticed that I get frequent screen corruption in emacs with gnome-terminal, specifically spaces often get stuck as inverse/solid blocks of text. I don't think this is an emacs bugs as I couldn't reproduce it with xterm, but it's trivial to reproduce with gnome-terminal. If I refresh the screen in emacs, or switch workspaces and back, the corruption goes away. I'm using metacity and the Intel X driver. Example screen shot attached. -- James ** Affects: gnome-terminal (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- screen corruption in emacs with gnome-terminal [hardy regression] https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/211981 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-terminal in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
