Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: gnome-terminal

Description: Ubuntu 7.10
Release: 7.10

gnome-terminal:
  Installed: 2.18.2-0ubuntu1
  Candidate: 2.18.2-0ubuntu1
  Version table:
 *** 2.18.2-0ubuntu1 0
        500 http://ubuntu.supp.name gutsy/main Packages
        100 /var/lib/dpkg/status

Reproducible: Always

Open gnome-terminal
create 2 more tabs (does not matter if using shortcut or menu/pop-up menu), now
you have 3 tabs
write e.g. "1" to first tab, "2" to the 2nd and "3" to the 3rd so you can
distinguish them (1,2,3)
select the first tab by clicking on it (You should see "1" in the terminal)
now click on the caption of last tab (the 3rd), hold it and move it to the
front (left) (the order should be now 3,1,2)
now click on the third tab (should be no. 2) hold it and move it to the first
position
now the expected order should be 2,3,1but it's still 3,1,2
in fact until You click on the tab bar after move you can't successfuly move
any other tabs

Improtant is not to click, but press the mouse button, hold and move the
tab.

That simple!
