Description: Ubuntu 7.10 Release: 7.10 gnome-terminal: Installed: 2.18.2-0ubuntu1 Candidate: 2.18.2-0ubuntu1 Version table: *** 2.18.2-0ubuntu1 0 500 http://ubuntu.supp.name gutsy/main Packages 100 /var/lib/dpkg/status Reproducible: Always Open gnome-terminal create 2 more tabs (does not matter if using shortcut or menu/pop-up menu), now you have 3 tabs write e.g. "1" to first tab, "2" to the 2nd and "3" to the 3rd so you can distinguish them (1,2,3) select the first tab by clicking on it (You should see "1" in the terminal) now click on the caption of last tab (the 3rd), hold it and move it to the front (left) (the order should be now 3,1,2) now click on the third tab (should be no. 2) hold it and move it to the first position now the expected order should be 2,3,1but it's still 3,1,2 in fact until You click on the tab bar after move you can't successfuly move any other tabs Improtant is not to click, but press the mouse button, hold and move the tab.
