Public bug reported: Binary package hint: rhythmbox
In Rhythmbox I get an error when trying to play MIDI files that a GStreamer MIDI plugin cannot be found. However I have gstreamer0.10 -plugins-bad installed, which in turn install libwildmidi0. This should allows MIDI files to be played in Rhythmbox. The wildmidi program works on its own (after installing its package). I would prefer not to use the timidity plugin (I have not installed it) as it is resource heavy. ** Affects: gst-plugins-bad0.10 (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Affects: rhythmbox (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Affects: wildmidi (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Also affects: wildmidi (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Also affects: gst-plugins-bad0.10 (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Rhythmbox does not detect wildmidi gstreamer plugin https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/219626 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to rhythmbox in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
