Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gvfs
External hard drives are mounted under, say /media/HD. When the computer hibernates, the drive is not hidden from nautilus, but is mounted again, now under /media/HD_. Trying to unmount /media/HD from nautilus raises an error: GVFS does not know about this mount (logical, since it has normally been unmounted). The second problem is that the dir /media/HD is owned by root (user and group) and won't be used by GVFS anymore. If I hibernate once again, the drive will be mounted to /media/HD__, and then /media/HD___ etc. I don't know how to get more logs are informations, but please just ask. ** Affects: gvfs (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- [Hardy] After hibernate, removable drives appear twice with one invalid https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/219689 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gvfs in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
