hi Sébastien,
i'm testing Jaunty on it's own partition , build with the last daily iso, and
Evolution has the same bug as described above.
Passwords are asked twice, each time i download my mail. (same pop and smtp
account, without ssl)

For me, after an update sometime in May evolution forgot POP passwords between
restarts, and while running would ask for keyring the password when sending or
receiving mail.
I fixed it by editing ~/.gnupg/gpg.conf
I deleted the line starting with gpg-agent-info.
I added a line containing only
Even after the patch/fix, still evolution forgets the passwords of web
calendars, I will open a new bug on this

Although I cannot test the issue for IMAP, I hereby confirm that the problem

No. This issue is indeed different. I also have several accounts using
different passwords.
I have one account that does not require SMTP-auth at all as well as one where
the POP3- and SMTP passwords are the same.
But only sending gpg-signed mails causes Evolution to forget about the POP3
can you reinstall the hardy version and test if that's an issue using
it? could you also describe easy steps to trigger the bug?

Steps to reproduce:
1) create a new email and select pgp sign
2) The POP3 and SMTP passwords are forgotten once the pgp password dialog comes
up and you hit cancel or type in the correct password. On the next check for
email you will have to enter in the passwords again. If you check the

evolution 2.22.1.1-0ubuntu1 to evolution 2.22.1.1-0ubuntu2 and the issue is
still the same.

No. This definitely only happens since the last update of Evolution.
But I can provide a completion to this bug:
When I enable the Remember passphrase for the rest of this session-switch in
the GPG-passphrase dialog, Evolution remembers the POP3-passwords even after
sending GPG-signed messages.
I can confirm this behavior with Evolution 2.22.1.1 - can't comment on
if it happened before the update, as I just set up pgp.
