Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gdm
When my PC boots up sometimes the CMOS is reset (probably something wrong with the CMOS battery). After the Ubuntu login screen it displays a popup saying that the system time is probably not correct, offering you the option to adjust it or ignore it. When I click ignore it logs in fine. But when I choose to adjust it shows the time and date settings dialog (but without a border, and in the upper-left of the screen). Expected: after adjusting the settings and clicking "close" the dialog closes and logs me in to the system What happened: after adjusting the settings and clicking "close" the dialog closes, but nothing happens (I only see my desktop background). Killing X, and logging in ignoring the warning works fine.
