I would like to confirm the reported problem with the same camera and
driver on both 32- and 64bit Hardy. The very same artefacts appear on
Ekiga's video output window. The camera delivers correct pictures when
operated with luvcview -f yuv.
I tested Ekiga with a Philips PCVC740K (0471:0311) and
