when I tried CLI, it's the same. It will eventually bring up the
evolution, but it didn't start at the begining.
I have to use Virtual Box with my Microsoft email for office mail.
Now, it seems Evolution recovered. Don't know why.

upgrade? do you get any error if you run evolution on a command line?
