Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gedit
In german language, there's a character "ß" which also can be substituted with "ss". If I search for the "ß" character in gedit (e.g. to substitute it with ß html code) there will be all "ss" found and further the "ß" with it's next character in the line. E.g. text is Meßergebnis Messergebnis The text that will be highlighted after search for "ß" is between "**": Me**ße**rgebnis Me**ss**ergebnis This issue makes the substitution impossible. ** Affects: gedit (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- gedit doesn't search for "ß" character https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/262190 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gedit in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
