Whenever I insert a flash device, F-Spot starts up and starts rummaging
around on the card. I really don't want it to do this, and so have the
relevant options in System->Preferences->Removable Drive and Media
Preferences disabled. However, this appears to do nothing; F-Spot still
starts up when media is inserted.

This is on Ubuntu Heron. I've seen this behaviour on two different
machines, so I don't think it's likely to be a simple configuration
issue. Is there any more information you want?
