I couldn't find an upstream ticket for this, but I still wonder how to track
this further down somewhere between rhythmbox and HAL before upstreaming...
- start /usr/bin/rhythmbox and provide any shell output
- maybe dmesg | tail also prints out some potential problems with the iRiver
hardware
Yes, it is reproducible. 50% (Firmware Vers.1.09 Ubuntu 8.10):
- Plug in e100 player (Set to MSC/Usb mass storage mode ).
- Choose open with Rhythmbox.
- Right click on player create new Playlist.
Result: The Playlist file ist placed in the root folder.
After moving the playlist to /Playlists on
