It was not fixed in hardy heron but as reported above it has been fixed
in the next release intrepid ibex (8.10) due out the 30th of october.
The only way it could get into the hardy repositories is if it was
backported which is unlikely because it is not of extremely high demand.

Ok! I just wanted to note that I personally think an LTS release is more
important than a non LTS one.
I guess we should upgrade even if we would rather stick to an LTS.
