Sorry to add another comment, but I just thought I'd chime in.
I had this problem when I tried to use the apt line from Miro's site, rather
than the repos. It appears to work fine as long as you don't use the direct
source.

I think this is not fixed at all. I have both 32 and 64 bits version of
Intrepid and python-gnome2-extras require libgdl-1-0 for both.

normally it takes some hours but the build failed due to an xorg xvfb
issue so until somebody fixes that now
