This bug is present on Ubuntu UNE 10.04 LTS and 10.10 running on a
netbook with screen resolution of 1024 x 600 (wide screen.) Problem only
evident with GNOME desktop. Both mail and contacts scale correctly.
However, when switching to calendar the window is larger that 1024 x
600. Consequently,

The Evolution team suggest to use evolution --express on netbooks.
However the express mode is not as usable as the full version, and we
can not take for granted that novice users know about it. Evolution have
worked perfectly on netbooks with Ubuntu in the recent versions, this
should be fixed in
On my EEE Pc 904 HA the work around mentioned earlier in this bug seems
to work. It is however far from ideal.
