What happens if you change the "Library Structure" item in the
configuration? I believe by default when ripping CD's, it stores in the
hierarchy Artist/Album, but you can change that by going to
Edit>Preferences, then the 'Music' tab. You could change it to store by
album.
The issue here really is
I think you are right this is an issue, however, this will be something
that ubuntu developers have no control over. I would recommend you go
upstream and find the bugtracker that rhythmbox uses (bugzilla possibly)
and report a bug there. If you do report back here about the existence
of the new bu
