I noticed that the latest release (1:2.24.1-0ubuntu1) of nautilus fixed
it. You can close those bug report.

you can use gconf-editor, and browse apps, nautilus. could you try using
an another user and see if you get the bug there?

which has not the type used, did you change your nautilus configuration
using some non standard tools?

I have not touched the nautilus configuration files at all. The upgrade
to Intrepid didn't go as smooth as I hoped, though, so something might
have gone wrong there (all I did was reinstall a few packages, which
might have been nautilus too).
