Public bug reported:
Following my upgrade to intrepid, when launching nautilus (for example,
via the Places > Home Folder menu), it is displayed without the side
pane. There is no menu option or Preferences option to turn it on.
In gconf-editor, I have checked and
/apps/nautilus/preferences/start_with_sidebar is ticked.
