I am also seeing this in Jaunty, but not sure if it's gdm at fault or the
kernel (unlikely). Will run apport for more debugging info.

I think the problem is caused by a combination of GNOME 2.24.1 and the new

By the way: I use a AMD dualcore with 2x2.5 ghz, so the speed of my
system should really not cause this.
And I think this is a gnome bug, but dunno though which package exactly.
If someone knows better, please correct me.
