Public bug reported: Ubuntu version: 8.10 Package version: 1.0.2-0ubuntu1
Ideally GVFS is able to "mount" and browse MTP devices (such as some audio player) using its gphoto2 backend. Using "gvfs-gphoto2-volume-monitor" process, users should simply plug the device and a new icon should appear on computer:// location allowing to browse the MTP device. On my system, this don't occur, GVFS seems to ignore the device. Note that this is not a libgphoto issue. In fact, the `gphoto2` program is able to recognize and manage the device, see attached output. ** Affects: gvfs (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- gphoto2 backend unable to mount MTP audio player https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/291840 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gvfs in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
