Weel, I've decided to upgrade my Ubuntu 8.04 to 8.10, unfortunately I've the
bug in the nautilus burner.
There are two possibilities, it's some problem with the kernell itself, or is a
bug in the nautilus burner. I've tried to burn a lot of CD's with the same
result, that is reported in the

I think this feature request properly belongs to nautilus-cd-burner.
I've seen people affected by similar problems, and this might be a good
way of avoiding a usability minefield (and a lot of coasters).

Perhaps the specific behavior which is wanted is to prompt if the user
tries to put a disk image file in an otherwise blank CD?
It is probably also necessary to define the desired behavior in the case
where the user has already added files or directories to the CD.
