Sebastian, the preinst for dbus uses 0.60-6ubunt6, note the typo to
ubuntu, should I open a bug about that?
This upload fixes the Depends issue:
epiphany-browser (2.14.1-0ubuntu5) dapper; urgency=low
.

- Depends on dbus since it's required (Ubuntu: #29906)

epiphany has libdbus-1-2 (= 0.60), libdbus-glib-1-2 (= 0.60) in Depends...
but it probably should also Depend on dbus itself because it doesn't work at
all without it... what's your oppinion on this, Sebastien?

That's why that bug is still open, I will add the Depends for the next upload
(I'm supposed to do that for some uploads now). Shouldn't the Depends be on
dbus-1-utils rather though?

Why dbus-1-utils? It only contains /usr/bin/dbus-viewer and
/usr/bin/dbus-monitor which is completely not needed... (btw, you could remove
dbus-1-utils from ubuntu-desktop)

but

so right, dbus is enough but why does dbus-1-utils ship that too so?

Uh it shouldn't... are you sure this file is still there? The one from
dbus-1-utils should be removed in preinst unless you have an old version of
it... see bug #31998
