Public bug reported: Binary package hint: evolution
I'm using Evolution 2.24.x in Ubuntu 8.10. When I enter a server url for my Google Apps calendar Evolution always re-writes the url to use caldav://. According to the Google documentation (http://www.google.com/support/calendar/bin/answer.py?answer=99358#sunbird) you must use "https". Now, I don't know if that means that the caldav:// with "use SSL [ ]" checked wouldn't fix it, but since things are not working (have filed other bugs as well). I'm wondering if this might be a symptom. Is it really necessary to re-write the server url with caldav://? Please let me know what additional information you need. ** Affects: evolution (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Evolution incorrectly re-writes a CalDAV server url to always begin with caldav:// https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/305439 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to evolution in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
