Toolbar crashes frequenlty on ubuntu 8.04

The problem with vmware 1.0.6 build-91891 on ubuntu 8.04 has happened
again today with a virtual machine with windows xp installed. The keys
ctrl, alt and shift cease to work and the I need to reboot.
No crash in /var/crash:
