every other player seem to work, but totem doesnt!
I retested and it works great with rhythmbox box, and every other player
i have installed, even with mouse over, on Nautilus.
Sound can only be set with new PulseAudio volume control...
Using alsamixer or alsamixergui

why gnome-volume-manager would cause it? it doesn't has any code to
manage the audio (look at the package description) It doesn't play the
audio file or you cannot hear what it plays? does gst-launch playbin
uri=file:///path/to/file works ok? does rhythmbox works ok?

Pedro never mind the volume-manager didnt sleep much tonight so i'm all
messed up.
I meant the new volume control applet, and apt-cache just autocompleted it badly
