I haven't received a fix. I'm using Serpentine for audio CD's as of

Pedro,
Having read the upstream bug, I think that they incorrectly closed it.
I believe that my Bug 356350 is a duplicate of this one. Brasero is, in
fact, broken.
You will notice from the attached brasero-settings.png that the
temporary space is set to shared, which is writable by me and has

Sure enough, as soon as I created shared/temp, Brasero displayed temp,
not shared, in the properties path, and started to work again.
So, yes, confirming that there is a bug to be fixed.

I created a new upstream bug report for this new issue, as it didn't really
seem related to the original upstream report.

Glad to be of any help. Just a question though:
did you set media/LOG as the temp file on purpose?
Also when you unset that gconf key, did you use the brasero interface? or
gconf-editor? (It seems that the key wasn't actually changed after all since I
found media/LOG in your gconf log)

brasero 0.9.1 doesn't burn anything - cannot create
Response in the upstream bug:
Hi, thanks for the report.
The problem here is not the size of the volume the user wants to store his tmp
files on.
The problem is listed at the end of the log:
No such file or directory which seems to suggest that the folder supposed to
hold all his temp files
i attached new log: i had media/BOX like folder, i change this folder
like defaults (/tmp) but the problem remains. moreover, i tried to set
/home/user/Desktop like tmp foldersame error.
