the crashdump usually has the debug informations but when the dbg
version don't match or due to other issues sometimes it can't be used
correctly which seems to be the case there, can you try to get a new
crash?

When I try to reproduce, I cannot, rhythmbox either closes down fine or
freezes completely. As said, gtkpod was open (and using the iPod) around
the same time, and maybe its interaction is what caused the original
crash. Thus, I am only left with the original apport uploads as
evidence of this
Errata:
Ignore the last section (3 sentences/questions):
The core dump was NOT created when debug symbols were installed.
The symbols were installed after the dump was created.
If I cannot insert them into the core dump, then it seems this bug will go
down as invalid.

I did not want to try to recreate the crash, since it was kinda weird;
so, I downloaded the CoreDump (after I got an e-mail saying it was
deleted...interesting, didn't know you could d/l deleted files, but
whatever) and ran it through gdb.
This is the first time I've done this, and it looked a

keeps stopping rhythmbox (status: stopped in system monitor) when it
comes to the Program received signal SIGPIPE, Broken pipe. for the
podcast d/l issue (I assume). Typing continue into gdb would make it
switch thread and stop
