Ok. I found out my keyboard did not work on the computer so I finally
used another keyboard and typed 'sudo dpkg --configure -a' in the
terminal and it worked. Thank you all for helping me.

I use a AMD64 Ubuntu 9.04 jaunty jackalope OS, while trying to reinstall
Firefox after failing to install the FireFox 3.5 from the additional
repositories.
This is the display I got. it mentioned that I report, which I am doing.
On trying to follow instructions ie. you must manually run 'dpkg
