Public bug reported: Binary package hint: metacity
To reproduce: add the gnome 'pointer capture applet' to a panel, then click on it to capture the pointer. (The applet will turn red.) Now try to press alt-tab to switch windows. What should happen: window switching as usual What does happen: nothing, until you click the mouse to release it, then alt-tab works again This may be the same root cause as bug 111939 ProblemType: Bug Architecture: i386 DistroRelease: Ubuntu 9.04 Package: metacity 1:2.25.144-0ubuntu1 ProcEnviron: PATH=(custom, user) LANG=en_AU.UTF-8 SHELL=/bin/zsh SourcePackage: metacity Uname: Linux 2.6.28-8-generic i686 ** Affects: metacity (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: apport-bug i386 -- alt-tab doesn't work when pointer is captured https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/340333 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to metacity in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
