Binary package hint: metacity

To reproduce: add the gnome 'pointer capture applet' to a panel, then
click on it to capture the pointer.  (The applet will turn red.)  Now
try to press alt-tab to switch windows.

What should happen: window switching as usual
What does happen: nothing, until you click the mouse to release it, then 
alt-tab works again

This may be the same root cause as bug 111939
