To answer to your questions. 1) I used sudo aptitude update and then sudo aptitude safe-upgrade. Brasero and libbrasero were not upgraded. 2) I expected an upgrade. 3) I encountered a conflict with nautilus-cd-burner. I removed it, and then installed using dpkg brasero and libbrasero. --
