Public bug reported: Binary package hint: evolution
I just upgraded to Ubuntu Jaunty. I use evolution to connect to three different mail accounts, all via IMAP: 1. A regular gmail account. 2. A google apps for your domain gmail account. 3. An IMAP account hosted by my university. When using a consumer Verizon DSL connection, I routinely am unable to connect to either google account. I am repeatedly asked for my password, and entering the correct password results in simply getting the password dialog again. The university e-mail account works fine under these circumstances, and has identical connection settings (connect using SSL, use password authentication). When connecting from my university's wireless connection, all e-mail accounts work correctly. ** Affects: evolution (Ubuntu) Importance: Low Assignee: Ubuntu Desktop Bugs (desktop-bugs) Status: Incomplete -- Evolution is unable to authenticate to some IMAP servers over certain connections https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/347915 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to evolution in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
