It looks like this has been fixed. When I typed apt-get update and then apt-get upgrade it updated my gedit. Although it still says its version gedit 2.24.2 in Help About -- Gaps below each line when copied and pasted https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/353128 You received this bug notification

Of coarse, Although this is happening to all my .txt/.php/.tcl, etc files that I've edited via Gedit. Here is one of my files. Also, I'm pretty sure its when you copy and paste from the text editor its self using right click. But I'm not sure. ** Attachment added: sysinfo.pl
