If the disk needs to be unmounted for technical reasons, then that
cannot be avoided, but it should be remounted when the operation is done
or aborted.

That's how a CD copy works, the tools need an exclusive use of the media
to copy it that's why it's unmount and nautilus stops using, I'm
rejecting the bug (which is a minor wishlist). Feel free to reopen with
some ideas on how to workaround that if you have some

my point is: if a user just wants to create a CD/DVD image (iso) he would want
the icon to be there once the image is created.

don't mention the "Copy Disc" dialog popping up (which happens at my place). To
remove the icon from the Desktop (unmounting it) seems to be the right thing,
regarding you want to copy the disc. What is the problem e
