Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gnome-media
Hi, The problem: When I want to select a sound device, I have to rightclick on the speaker icon, go to the settings there and select my sound device. Now the speaker icon knows the device. But if I use the keyboard to control the sound it will still only control my default on board card. Not the selected one. I have to go to System->Settings->Audio and change it there too. The other place where I can change my sound settings is the volume control. The solution: It would be really nice if those two apps would work on the same settings. So that if one is changed the other is too. I have attached a Screenshot with the three windows where I can change something about sound. thanks enaut ** Affects: gnome-media (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Sound configuration in multiple places. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/368196 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-media in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
