That works fine for me on dapper and edgy with that example:
- download http://www.gnome.org/start/unstable/schedule.ics
- start evolution, go to calendar
- create a local calendar
- use file, import to import the file with (ics format)
- select the calendar just created and validate
- right click
Description of Problem:
I am using SimplyMEMPIS 6.0beta on i386. I'm trying to delete calendars that I
have set up after populating them with an .ics single file import. Does not
crash, just ignores command.
Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Create calendar
2. Import a single file that holds
macandeman just described the problems I had:
Importing calendars copies them to all the caledars opened !
and then you can't delete calendars.

I used xubuntu (dapper drake 6.06 beta) three weeks ago. I tried on a very week
laptop I use for school (toshibe portege 3440CT with P3). So I thought it would
be good enough. The main use was for calander.
I could not use evolution 2.6 which was downloded from official repositories

I can reproduce this bug, although with remote calendars.
I currently have a CalDAV calendar I cannot delete and my email address changed
on our Exchange server, so I now have two instances of the calendar, one listed
under the old email address and one listed under the new one and I cannot
Yann, could you describe what you do exactly? Does it happen if you:
- create a new calendar
- right click on it
- pick delete
?
That works fine for me. Maybe that's dependent of some action you do after
creating the calendar?

I cannot reproduce this bug. I created 4 local calenders, and I could create
events in each of them and delete all of them. Will mark the bug as
unconfirmed, please reopen if you still face this issue.

I can still reproduce this bug.
I created a new user on my computer to start from a fresh setup, and I was able
to reproduce the bug !
I don't understand what is wrong with my setup.
It seems there is a new evolution package, I will apt-get upgrade to see if it
solves the problem.

version of Ubuntu do you use? What sort of calendar did you create? How can't
you delete them? Does it crash? Does it ignore your action? Does it open a
dialog with some error? If that's the case what is the dialog
